What To Wear On A First Date

It is finally here; you are getting ready to go out on that first date with someone special that you met. You are excited but as many of us are when we are trying to impress someone, we have no idea what to wear on that first date. For men and women it is different, women worry more about what to wear then men do. But we are here to offer some tips on what to wear and want not to wear on a first date for both men and women.

Let's start with ladies first, there are all different types of personalities out there and women like to dress accordingly. What some women do not understand that a man does judge you by the way you are dressed. Sure they have seen you in a club wearing club attire like glitter dresses and mini skirts but they don't really want to see that on a first date. There are different types of clothes for both men and women and each style has its place. Sexy club wear is not a good idea on the first date and the reason is that on the first date you are trying to get to know someone to determine whether or not there will be a second date.

Ladies, when dressing for a first date it is ok to conservative but sexy at the same time. Wearing the classic black dress is perfect for a first date and with a pair of sexy heels. The jewelry that you wear can provide a hint of sexy as well. Leave the sexy up to the accessories that you have on and the leave the clothes to make a good impression. Do not wear too much makeup and be conservative on the perfume as well.

For the men out there, the same can be said for you. Leave the club wear for the club. A nice shirt and jacket will do with a tie being optional. A nice pair of jeans looks casual and a pair of dress pants looks formal. You will also want to dress accordingly to what activities you are doing; if it is just dinner then casual formal is good. As we said to women, be conservative with the cologne, too much not only is overpowering but it is a turn off as well. If you have been married before and you still wear your wedding ring, it is a good idea to leave it at home.

It is ok to wear fun outfits and look sexy since you are trying to see if they are not only nice people that you would want to date again but a little sexy won't hurt since you want to see if there is any kind of physical attraction too. Just remember to stay true to who you are, be yourself and dress with class. These are things that make the best first impressions. As the old saying goes, you want to dress to impress.
